Jeremy Welton, SE
Jeremy Welton has twenty plus years of experience as a structural engineer practicing in the state of California with a primary emphasis in seismic design of structures. He received his undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1996. He received his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) from UC Irvine in 2000. Jeremy is a licensed Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer in California.
Jeremy has broad experience gained while working at Fluor Daniel, ABS Consulting (formerly EQE International) and Integrated Design Services. His experience includes projects in the petrochemical, heavy industrial, commercial and residential industries for both private and public clients. Projects have included evaluation of structures for wind, hurricane, gravity and seismic forces, new design, expansion and retrofit.
Jeremy is also involved in the structural engineering community. He taught at Timber Design as a part-time lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona and a seismic review course for engineers preparing to take the Seismic Principles Exam, which is one requirement to receive the title of Professional Engineer in the branch of Civil Engineering in California. Jeremy is also a member of the southern chapter of the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOSC) and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
During his free time Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He is currently a cub scout leader and enjoys the time he spends out camping with his son and his pack.

Alexandros Bletsos, SE & PE
Alexandros Bletsos is a project manager at Spire and has been practicing structural engineering for over a decade. He has focused his career on new design and retrofits of building structures. He received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) from the University of California, Davis in 2000. He went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) from California State University, Sacramento in 2001. Alexandros is a licensed Professional and Structural Engineer in the State of California. Prior to joining Spire, he gained valuable experience while working for ABS Consulting (formerly EQE International), Hillman, Biddison and Loevenguth Structural Engineers (HBL), and John A. Martin and Associates (JAMA). His experience covers all types of work within commercial, private, and industrial structures. He has extensive experience doing projects for the Division of State Architect (DSA) and the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). Outside of work Alexandros keeps busy working on his house, playing tennis, and roller/ice hockey. Another favorite activity of his is traveling; his favorite hot spots to date have been Greece, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.
